Breanna’s Star is our main fundraising event of the year, a night of Art, Celebration and Giving held every year in April. This casual evening is filled with live music, auctions, a creative art project for those who wish to participate, a wall of wine and more.
Breanna’s Star 2017 has a new venue. This year’s event will be held at Plymouth Creek
Center in Plymouth, MN. It’s a new location with all the fun from the past and always something new and unexpected.
Our featured artist this year will be Chris Wilson. Chris is a visual artist and one of our Breanna’s Gift teachers. Chris and the children at Children’s MN in both Minneapolis and St. Paul hospitals will be collaborating to create an embossed metal work of art for our live auction. Chris will also lead our do-it-yourself art project at this year’s event. Emily Engberg joins us again to lead the live auction and fund-a-project efforts. And what would Breanna’s Star be without Trailer Trash Band as they return to put the “live” into live entertainment.
Tickets are $70 and each includes appetizers and awesome entertainment. Purchase tickets below with your credit card or mail your check to Breanna’s Gift, 2726C Humboldt Avenue S, Minneapolis, MN 55408.
Just like Thanksgiving, we are thankful, to all our event patrons, live and silent auction donors, guests and everyone who contributes their time and talent to making our events such successes. We’d like to give special mention to our $10,000 Universe Patron, Parsons Electric, our $7,500 Galaxy Patron, John Fallin and the team at Origination, our $1,500 Moon Patron, Werner Electric and our $1,000 Moon Patrons, Rick & Tamra Anderson, The Bainey Group, Gayle Becker, Tim & Jan Dufault, Gardner Builders, Cynthia & Keith Gustafson, Lesley & Jonathan Kochel, and Sever Construction.
